Dear Friends,

I am delighted to welcome you to Pilgrim-St. Luke’s United Church of Christ.  As pastor of this vibrant community of faith it is my privilege to be in ministry with others who are excited about the adventure, joy and challenge of living as Christians in today’s world.

We are a Christ Centered community called to grow in our knowledge and love of God through worship, prayer, action and reflection.  This growth involves naming and claiming our God-given gifts for ministry and fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives and our life together.

 

We are an Inclusive community that enthusiastically celebrates the rich diversity of God’s people.  Living out the conviction that everyone is a precious and beloved child of God, we work to overcome the barriers among us that destroy community and diminish the dignity of those created in God’s image.

 

We are a community that is Committed to allowing the transforming love of Jesus and his passion for the least and the last among us to lead us beyond our walls in pursuing God’s dream for a world of justice and peace.
